What To Expect

Architectural Drawings

Starting with the rough draft, the entire team will work with the architect to draft plans based on your lifestyle requirements and living patterns. From the first draft to the final version of your dream home, we will craft a design that will excite you about your future residence.



Preliminary Budgeting

While the architectural details are in their final design phase, we will sit down with you and discuss openly the details of your preferred materials to make sure you are fully aware of all possible expenses. It is important to us to set a clear-cut path to get your home built without incurring any financial surprises.



Materials Selection

Based on the budget forecast, we can integrate your favorite features and material selections into the design of your home.



Maximizing Your Investment

Because we are an experienced and fair-minded custom home builder, we will make sure you are aware of options and materials that can increase the value of your home in order to maximize your investment. Your win is our win.



Complete Budget

MG HOMES will present a completed set of plans to you including all of the features and materials selected personally by you. This will allow us to speak openly about the final budget for your home build. We will make sure this budget is clear and concise; laid out in great detail for you to review and approve. We want to make sure you feel confident with your choices and that you understand the course of the project moving forward as it pertains to staying within a budget.



Transparent Accountability

Each month, we will include copies of each invoice, a real-time budget report, and a completed percentage breakdown to show the progress on your project.



Pre-Construction Meeting

As a final step before breaking ground on your new home, we will review the entire set of plans, features, materials and budget with you. Collaborating with our team and communicating very precisely as to how the project will proceed systematically is the catalyst to a timely completion of your dream home.



Construction Begins

Now that we have an accurate and complete set of plans, they are ready to be distributed to each team member and sub-contractor in a collaborative effort to easily move forward with confidence.



Scheduled Onsite Meetings

Of course, you will want to see your home come to life. As with any build job, your new home will take on many different forms as the structure is framed and finished out. We will schedule onsite meetings to keep you informed as to the progress of the project and to allow you a chance to review the evolution of your home.



Walk-Throughs

To avoid expensive revisions, there are very specific stages at which you will be invited to walk your property or through your home before the next phase of the home begins.



Move In

Your new home is move-in ready! At this point we have made a strong team working in tandem to take your dream home from aesthetically pleasing ideas to beautifully designed plans to a wonderfully crafted home for you to live in. We feel confident your experience with MG HOMES will leave you speaking with great enthusiasm about building your new custom home from cradle to creation was by the book, just as we said it would be.


