Fire Lake Reservoir

The name “Fire Lake” comes from the Shivwits, a band of Paiutes, which means reservoir; Ivins Reservoir is constantly fed fresh water that is maintained year-round. Surrounded by sandy beaches, come prepared to picnic on the benches, bask in the sun in the green grass, or rent canoes and paddle-boat available at the park.

Snow Canyon State Park

The perfect for hiking, camping, and horseback enthusiasts just a few miles away! Snow Canyon State Park in Utah’s Red Cliffs Desert Reserve features dramatic Navajo sandstone cliffs that are part of a colorful and fragile desert landscape that also includes lava flows, petrified sand dunes, and slot canyons.

Black Desert Resort

Black Desert is beautifully laid out among the region’s ancient basalt rock formations near Snow Canyon State Park. Black Desert Resort is slated to host an LPGA event starting in 2025. Several holes can be played in multiple different ways depending on your confidence. The course also will offer an amphitheater-style 19th hole and a 36-hole lit putting course.
